Production Planner

A market-leading manufacturing business requires a Production Planner to support production planning, scheduling and operational coordination across multiple production areas. Applicants need experience in production planning or supply chain, have MRP/ERP literacy and be familiar with the demands of a manufacturing environment. The Production Planner will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules across the Havant facility alongside the coordination of sub-contract planning. Specific duties of the Production Planner include:Raise work orders and job cards in MRPCapacity planningReview customer demand forecastMontior progress of production plans and implement changes if requiredSeek to improve OTIF to customer and reduce late deliveriesContribute to process improvement, better MRP usage and LEAN initiatives within the broader production planning team Production Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:Previous experience in; production planning, production control, production coordination, scheduling, materials planning or supply chain planningLiteracy with MRP/ERP systemsA process-improvement mindset and the desire to drive changePrevious experience within a manufacturing or production businessExcellent communication, analytical and relationship building ..... full job details .....
