Production Planner

Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will ensure all customer product orders are fulfilled on time and in full, whilst effectively managing workload, materials, and tooling for all build demands.Key Responsibilities:Interpret and review MRP requirements before placing ordersWork closely with the Supply Chain to ensure timely purchase requisitions and material deliveriesMonitor job status in collaboration with production and procurement teamsProvide regular project updates, stock and order information to commercial, support, and project management teamsEnsure system compliance with relevant change notices and current build status alongside Engineering teamsSupport end of month cycle counting, WIP reporting, and material audits with FinanceIdentify and assist with MRP material planning business improvement activitiesAct as a back-up for the Manufacturing Manager when requiredHealth, Safety, and Environment:The successful applicant will:Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of othersAdhere to company Health and Safety policies and proceduresReport any potential hazards or environment impactsConduct activities in line with health, safety, and environmental policiesPerson Specification:Education and Qualifications:Degree qualification is preferredA minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (or equivalent)A-Level education ..... full job details .....
