Production Planner

Job Title: Production Planner Salary: Up to £35,000 Location: Oldham Our client is currently looking for an experienced Production Planner to join the business on a permanent basis due to consistent growth year on year. Key responsibilities: Plan and prepare production schedules in order to meet business and customer demands General control and housekeeping of Production Work Orders Reviewing Warehouse stock availability Responsible for establishing and communicating daily work priorities to Supervisors for them to discharge Communication between Production and Customer Service and Purchasing Functions Effective capacity management of production lines, material and labour resources Creation of new item numbers and associated BoM information in Navision Maintain and communicate department KPI s Proactively seek and implement improvements to the Production planning and execution processes General administrative duties for the Production Department To work within business guidelines and procedures. Notify Manager of Safety Hazards.
