GMP Recruitment Agency Limited are re proud to be in partnership with an engineering company who are experts in precision engineering, located in Tewkesbury. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Production Planner to join their team on a full time, permanent contract. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday and can offer a salary up to £40K pending relevant experience. The Production Planner will be responsible for utilising the company''s ERP/MRP systems (SAGE 200 and Preactor) to optimise shop floor scheduling, ensure efficient resource loading, and achieve On-Time In-Full (OTIF) customer delivery performance.Proven experience in a Production Planning role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally precision engineering, is essential to be considered. Production Planner main duties: Develop and maintain efficient production schedules, ensuring work is loaded effectively while safeguarding customer delivery commitments.Maintain accurate, real-time tracking of live works orders within the ERP/MRP systems.Produce weekly and monthly forward-loading plans for all production resources, including manual operations (e.g., deburring, inspection, packing and despatch).Monitor performance against the production schedule, proactively identifying delays, communicating with machinists, and driving adherence to output targets.Coordinate the timely physical movement of jobs between processes to maintain workflow continuity.Ensure ..... full job details .....
