Production Planner

The Production Planner will be responsible for daily monitoring of customer requirements and translating this data into required production plans for facilities within the plant. The role will also monitor adherence to production plans and highlight potential risks to supply. This role is key to ensuring production plans support customer schedules, internal targets, stock profiles and material availability across the plant. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams and customers to support 100% delivery performance and a zero-arrears culture. Key Responsibilities Interpret customer schedules and generate production plans that support all requirements Review, formulate and challenge production plans to ensure customer targets are achieved. Update and maintain the MRP system for works orders, stock levels and material scheduling in line with production plans. Manage stock levels in line with company targets to support 100% delivery performance internally and externally. Manage and escalate material issues to ensure there is no disruption to the production schedule. Monitor adherence to production plans and formulate recovery plans for any shortfalls. Maintain regular and effective communication with relevant customers, suppliers and key internal departments. Identify and implement continuous improvement activities within the Production Control area.
