The Company Our client are a market leading manufacturer who operate on a global basis. Due to continued expansion they have an excellent opportunity to join their business as a Production Planner. The Role The Senior Production Planner is responsible for leading the development, execution, and optimisation of short, medium, and long-term production plans to meet customer demand and business objectives. This role plays a critical part in the SandOP process, ensuring alignment between demand, production capacity, inventory strategy, and commercial priorities Main duties include: Production Planning and Execution Develop and manage short-, medium-, and long-term production schedules aligned to customer requirements and company targets. Lead daily and weekly planning cadence including production schedule reviews and progress tracking. Ensure effective plan execution and update schedules in response to changes. Oversee completion and closure of production jobs to maintain system accuracy. SandOP Responsibilities Act as a key contributor to the monthly SandOP cycle including demand vs capacity balancing. Translate the agreed SandOP plan into a feasible production plan. Collaborate with Commercial teams to validate forecasts and demand.
