Production Planner

Job Role: Planner
Location: Alfreton
Salary: up to £55,000

SF Recruitment are partnering with a family run manufacturing business who are recruiting an exciting new position. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Planning Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and lead a small team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must have at least 5 years'' experience in a similar role.

This is a key role where you will have full responsibility for day-to-day operations, production planning, staff supervision, and ensuring the smooth running of all production activities.

Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and manage daily/weekly production schedules
- Balance workload against raw material availability, staffing levels, and machinery capacity.
-Supervise and support a production team of 10-15 staff
-Monitor output and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards
-Adjust plans based on materials, staffing, or equipment changes
-Liaise with sales, procurement, and maintenance teams
-Identify and implement process improvements
-Ensure compliance is adhered to
