Production Planner

Role: Production Planner Location: Redditch Salary Range: £40-45k + Benefits This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to step into a progressive Production Planner role with a clear pathway to becoming a Production Manager. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with the Sales Planning team and Production Manager to forecast and allocate resources required to meet sales demands. Develop and issue work orders to all relevant departments, ensuring production schedules align with customer requirements. Create and distribute work orders and supporting documentation to facilitate production in line with sales forecasts. Allocate stock to work orders; identify and communicate potential issues to support teams, and work together to provide solutions when challenges arise. Continuously monitor the production plan, identify underproduction or overproduction risks, and propose actionable solutions to maintain efficiency. Drive continuous improvement of the production planning process to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Contribute to the transition and implementation of new systems or processes, ensuring planning workflows are well-defined and ready prior to system go-live.
