Production Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Planner to join a well-established and successful manufacturing company based in the Barnsley area. Reporting in to the Planning Manager the Production Planner will be responsible for the efficient planning of production and offers a competitive salary and excellent benefitsIn the Production Planner position, you will be responsible for:Liaise with Production Managers when generating production plansMonitor and control stocks and challenge variances.Validate and challenge incoming sales orders in comparison to forecast and expectations.Liaise with production to ensure a fast response to amendments to plan.Ensure awareness of new products, changes to specification, promotions and details re their impact on Production.The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and ideally have experience in the food manufacturing sector. You should be highly organised and have strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
