Production Planner Manufacturing Planner Production PlanningMerthyr Tydfil Up to 40,000 DOE 40 Hours per Week Monday-Friday Site BasedIntroductionAcorn by Synergie is working with a market-leading manufacturer seeking a Production Planner to join their expanding team in Merthyr Tydfil.The role will be fully site based, working for a rewarding and reliable employer.What We OfferSalary up to 40,000, depending on experience.Monday to Friday.40 hours per week.Key DutiesDevelop and manage capacity planning activities in collaboration with the Production Scheduler, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and alignment with maintenance cycles.Plan and manage material demand and stock control through the ERP/MRP system in line with customer requirements.Ensure capacity planning is fully integrated within ERP/MRP systems to optimise delivery performance, efficiency and cost.Manage and maintain data accuracy within the ERP system (IFS), including actioning MRP messages and resolving stock-related queries.Load projects into the system following design release, including Master Part setup and validation of key data fields.RequirementsStrong experience in production or factory planning roles is essential.Advanced knowledge with proven experience using ERP/MRP systems and planning processes.Understanding of capacity planning, inventory management and production flow.Experience within a manufacturing engineering environment is ideal but not essential.Strong IT skills, including Excel and ..... full job details .....
