Production Picker

Role: Production Picker
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 15:00
Pay: -13.50 - -14.00 p/hour + Overtime
Contract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract)

We are currently recruiting for a Production Picker to join a busy manufacturing business in Ipswich. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse and stock control experience looking for a long-term role with an early finish and overtime available.

Production Picker Duties:

• Picking machine parts and components from the warehouse
• Reading and working from stock lists and pick sheets
• Managing inventory and maintaining accurate stock levels
• Carrying out regular stock checks and reconciliations
• Liaising with the manufacturing team to ensure parts are available when required
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed
• Maintaining accurate computerised stock records
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and organised working environment

Who are we looking for?

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Stock control or inventory management experience is highly desirable
• Computer literate and confident using stock management systems
• Experience using SAP would be advantageous
• Any experience using hand tools within a manufacturing or assembly environment would be beneficial
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Pay & Hours:

• -13.50 - -14.00 p/hour
• Overtime available
• Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 15:00
• Early finish every day
