Job Advertisement: Production Operators Wanted in Newton Aycliffe!

Our client is on the lookout for enthusiastic Production Operators to join their dynamic team in Newton Aycliffe! This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading organisation and contribute to high-quality production processes.

Location: Aycliffe
Positions Available: Start ASAP, ongoing

Rate of Pay: -18.38 per hour basic, Overtime available
Contract Length: 12 months/ongoing

Shift Patterns: there are 2 shift patterns available on site :

• 3 Shift Pattern Rotating. Monday to Friday
• (06:00am - 14:00pm)
• (14:00pm - 22:00pm)
• (22:00pm - 06:00am)

Condensed Week Shift pattern

Week 1 - 40 hours over a 4 day shift - Days (10 hours)

Week 2 - 36 hours over 3 night shifts - nights (12 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Operator, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing process. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Operating machinery efficiently and safely.
• Picking and packing products with precision.
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure top-notch standards.
• Verifying that packaging matches product specifications and orders.
• Calibrating scales and conducting visual checks for accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by cleaning machines and reporting any damage.
• Collaborating proactively with team members to ensure continuous production with minimal waste.
• Participating in improvement and problem-solving teams.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following essential skills:

• Experience in Production: Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing setting is a must!
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while following standard work practises.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision in all tasks.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Physical Stamina: Capacity to handle manual tasks, climb steps, and maintain concentration during routine activities.
• Flexibility: Open to working shifts
