Production Operator

• Team Valley, Gateshead
• 12 week temp to perm
• -13.01 - -13.89 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing steel prior to painting (grinding, Sanding, de-greasing, cleaning
• Painting steel framework (roller/brush)
• Quality checking products and final preparation checks before painting
• Be able to follow clear instructions and complete check sheets to the correct standard
• Carry out general labourer-style duties around main paint work (emptying waste bins, disposing waste in collection area, general tidy up of manufacturing areas)

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in preparing mild steel framework (grinding, sanding)
• Experience in painting mild steel framework
