Production Operator

Join our team at PepsiCo Skelmersdale as a Production Operator!

We''re looking for hands-on people to help us make some of the UK''s favourite snacks like Walkers Baked and Monster Munch. If you enjoy solving problems and working with machines, this could be a good job for you.

Working Hours

• Panama shift pattern: 3 days on, 2 days off. Rotating across nights and days.
• 42 hours/week on average, including weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts.
• 12-hour shifts.

Salary

• -37,758.91 (including shift allowance)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate the equipment in your area, keeping the line running smoothly.
• Keep machines running efficiently with regular checks and basic maintenance.
• Spot and report safety concerns.
• Log issues and help solve them.
• Switch equipment between products or batches.
• Hand over information to the next shift.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working in a production environment.
• Ability to check equipment for defects and replace the basic parts.
• Problem-solving skills (like fixing a minor machine issue).
• Attention to safety.
• Good communication skills.
