Production Operator

IMH Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and skilled-Production Operative-to join our client''s dynamic team in-South Kirkby.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products using a variety of hand and power tools, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and safely within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components and products using hand tools and power tools according to specifications.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring that tools and materials are stored correctly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist in the training of new staff as required.

Duties:

• Utilize power tools and hand tools to assemble components accurately
• Work efficiently in a warehouse setting to meet production goals
• Follow assembly instructions and blueprints to ensure quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks effectively
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

Skills:

• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
• Prior experience in a warehouse or assembly role preferred
• Strong ability to assemble products accurately and efficiently
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
• Attention to detail and precision in work tasks

Hours and Pay:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (4pm finishes on Fridays)
• -13.45 per hour
• Weekly pay via agency!
