Production Operator - Deburr
Job title Production Operator - Deburr Purpose of Role Responsible for the finishing and preparation of metal components by removing burrs, sharps edges, and other imperfections using a variety of hand and power tools. To ensure parts meet quality standards and customer specifications prior to final assembly or shipping. Reporting To Deburr Team Lead Working pattern Standard working hours, Monday to Friday Early and back shift 37 hours per week Location Glasgow Key Responsibilities Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, and other surface defects. Operate deburring tools such as hand files, sanders, grinders and rotary tools. Follow blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure precise finishes. Use microscopes or magnifiers for detailed deburring work when necessary Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area and equipment.
