We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join a reputable and well established client of ours in St Neots. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies in a production environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical parts using hand tools
- Read and interpret assembly instructions
- Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets Stamping parts with use of a machine
- Measuring and cutting material to tight tolerances using cutting machines
- Flushing with either a lubricant or pellets
- Taping finished products
- Bagging finished goods
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices
