Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Production Operator to join our well established client. 

Job Duties: 

• Responsible for operating machinery, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting the smooth running of the manufacturing area.
• Monitor machine performance and report issues to management. 
• Physically move tooling, fittings, and materials as needed.
• Inspect fittings and report quality concerns promptly.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and ensure any defective parts are properly segregated.
• Provide support to colleagues and offer absence cover to maintain output.
• Take part in continuous improvement activities and support other tasks within the manufacturing department.

Requirements: 

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production line environment.
• Good technical ability with a machine setter background. 
• Experience following work-based procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Strong safety awareness with experience in safe systems of work and waste handling procedures.
• Confidence in taking responsibility within defined limits of authority.

Salary: £31,737 Per Annum (including shift premium). 

Working hours: Days, Nights and Afters, 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am. 

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
