Production Operator

Vibe Recruit''s client is currently going through an exciting time of growth as one of the fastest growing corrugated packaging companies in the UK.

As a result, they are looking to appoint a number of Machine Operators on a full time to maximise the machine output through good manufacturing practices.

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and hard working individuals to join our team. Successful candidates will be strong, talented and driven, comfortable in a factory environment, and ideally with previous machine experience.

Location: Pontypool

Hours of work:

Day shift - 06:00 - 14:30 Monday - Thursday, 06:00 - 13:00 Friday

Salary: -12.21

• To keep machine supplied with materials
• Learning to set and run die-cutters, gluers, flexographic printers
• Setting and operating a machine
• Feeding boards
• Inspecting and changing parts
• Completing paperwork
• Following verbal and written instructions
• To work with other teams in order to achieve manufacturing targets.
• Identification and accurate reporting of manufacturing problems
• Maintain agreed standard of cleanliness of machine and work area (Good housekeeping and 5s)
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machinery
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and Solid Works
• Skills in CAD
• Previous experience Machine Operating is a MUST
