About the Role
Manpower UK is seeking Production Operatives Required to join a long-established sealant manufacturer in Belper. This temporary role pays up to £12.71 per hour and involves operating machinery within a production setting. Responsibilities include reading instructions, measuring ingredients, and following precise manufacturing processes. Candidates must possess strong maths, reading, and writing skills, as this is not standard line work. Experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment is essential. Note that the workplace can be dusty, and the client plans to relocate to Kirby in Ashfield, so applicants must be able to travel to both sites.
Manpower are currently recruiting for production operatives that have had experience of operating machines for our client that are based in Belper.
Our client is a leading manufacturer of sealants and has been established well over 100 years, they are currently based in Belper but there plans to relocate to Kirby in Ashfield so please be aware you will need to be able to get to both locations.
Please be aware that is can be very dusty.
You will be required to read instructions and measure out ingredients therefore a good level of maths, reading and writing is required, this is not typical production line work, our client is looking for people from a manufacturing background who have had experience of operating machines within a production environment and following instructions.
There will be some heavy lifting involved and manual handling.
These positions are Temporary to Permanent and a great opportunity to join a lovely company
£12.71 per hour on joining with a pay rise when taken on perm
1 x 06.30 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday
37.5 hours per week
30 mins up paid break and 2 x 15 min paid break per shift
You will be required to attend a walk round of the site before starting the position.
