Production Operatives

Production Operatives sought to join an award-winning, multimillion turnover food plant based in Bilston. They are a privately owned company who supply numerous sectors including foodservice, retail, wholesale and catering, both in the UK and abroad. Our client is recruiting Production Operatives on a permanent, full-time basis, with morning (6am-3pm) and afternoon (3pm-10.30pm) shifts available. Your duties as Production Operative:Operating a production line producing pre-packaged chicken products for distribution to retail, wholesale, restaurant, catering clientsProducing products in accordance with work orders and in compliance with customer specificationsReporting to the Production SupervisorMinimising wastageOperating production machineryWearing appropriate PPEReporting machine faults to maintenance colleagues when requiredWorking in collaboration with Quality Controllers, Supervisors and fellow Production OperativesWorking in accordance with HACCP and Food Safety and Hygiene principles Your Experience:Previous experience as a Production Operative within a food manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of HACCPAvailability to work full-time either AM or PM shifts, Monday to FridayFood Safety qualification would be beneficialFluent Punjabi would be beneficial but not essential Benefits: 12.83 per hour5 hours per weekWorking hours: 6am-3pm (morning shift) or 3pm-10.30pm (afternoon shift)Full training providedSafe working environmentEmployee progression availableCompany ..... full job details .....
