Production Operative Manufacturing Operative Factory OperativeNewport 12.85 per Hour + Shift Premiums Days, Afternoons and NightsIntroductionAcorn by Synergie is currently recruiting Production Operatives to work at one of our well-established clients in the Newport area.What We Offer 12.85 per hour plus shift premiums.Day, afternoon and night shift patterns.Full training provided for operating robots manually.Key DutiesOperate machinery to assist in the production process.Conduct visual quality checks of all products.Load and unload products onto the production line.Undertake manual handling activities.Operate robots manually if any problems occur, with full training provided.Run the Oxide Mill, working with pure lead and heat torches.Abide by all Health and Safety guidelines.Ensure good housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained within the area of responsibility.RequirementsPrevious experience with heavy industry products and hot metals.Numerate and literate, with GCSE passes in Mathematics and English Language desirable.PC literate, with knowledge of Microsoft beneficial.Robotic knowledge would be an advantage.Knowledge of the FIFO system is desirable.Enthusiastic with a responsible attitude.Common-sense approach with good interpersonal skills.Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.Flexible approach to working hours.Must be able to wear an Airflow mask, as this is mandatory due to the nature of ..... full job details .....
