Production Operative with FLT

Manpower is currently recruiting for Production Operatives for a specialist manufacturing client based in Runcorn. This is a temp to perm opportunity with excellent long-term potential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing fluoropolymer coatings to the highest quality standards, working within a fast-paced production environment.

The Role:

• Manufacture products in line with Shop Orders and process control systems
• Ensure all products are produced to the highest quality standards
• Report any quality issues or material shortages to management promptly
• Operate and carry out safety checks on FLT/Reach trucks
• Maintain equipment and work areas in line with 5S standards
• Support continuous improvement within the production process
• Maintain audit data in line with SQCPD requirements
• Follow all health andamp; safety procedures and promote safe working practices
• Carry out additional duties as required by management

Working Hours:

37.5 hours per week
Initial training: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (first month)
Then rotating shifts: 06:00 - 14:00 and 13:00 - 21:00

Pay:

£14.27 per hour
£90 weekly shift allowance once on shifts
Holiday pay included

Requirements:

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (Reach licence desirable)
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
• Understanding of Lean principles
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Good organisational skills
