Production Operative

The Job People are looking for Fabrication Production Operatives for fixed AM and PM shifts to join a busy manufacturing site in Coventry for long term work. We require candidates with some production experience with a keen eye for detail and willingness to learn new skills. Must be able to read and understand English. Must be able to sue a tape measure accurately.Must be prepared to support the business needs if we require some flexibility with working hours. We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic colleagues who are willing to work long term with the opportunity to gain a full-time contract.Self-Motivated, Friendly.Able to effectively communicate with managers and colleaguesHave a ''can-do'' attitude and willing to learn new skills. This is a full time role - we do not have any part time roles. Shift Hours as a Production Operative in Coventry:Fixed shift 8 to 10 hours per day16.00 - 02.0007.00 - 15.00 (lower starting salary for AM shift) Some shifts may start earlier or finish later due to the demands of the business. Monday to FridayWeekend support required in busy periods Long term workOpportunity to go permanent after a qualifying period.Pay Rates for Production Operative: 12.71 per hour for first level whilst training on AM shift 16.90 per hour when on PM shift 16.00 - 02.00Overtime paid after 37.5 hoursx1.333, X1.5 and x2 rate.
