Production Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client, which produces some of the nation''s favourite cakes such as Cherry Bakewells, Mince Pies, Jam Tarts and Cake Slices! The start date is 7th April. Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Stoke-on-Trent. The rate of pay is: - Mornings £12.71 per hour - Afternoons £12.71 per hour - Evening £14.11 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks to £14.23 per hour This is a part-time role working the following shift patterns: - Mornings - Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 12:15pm - 21.25 hours per week - Afternoons - Monday to Friday- 12:10pm to 16:25pm - 21.25 hours per week - Evenings - Monday to Friday - 16:20pm to 20:20pm - 20 hours per week Your Time at Work As a Production Operative you will be working on the production lines producing cakes. Your duties include: - Ensuring that production lines are running smoothly - Reporting any breakdowns or problems with production - Adhering to food safety standards - Adhering to health and safety standards You could be required to place cherries on the Cherry Bakewells, or pat down making sure the slices are moving through the lines the right way, or tray off taking freshly made products of the line to cool. You will be required to work at the speed of the production line as part of the production team The more experience you gain you will be able to move into more skilled roles within the factory.
