Production Operative Location: HalifaxHourly Rate: 13.06 p/hWorking Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 3:30pm (Overtime currently available, flexibility to work up to 12-hour shifts is required) Contract Type: Temporary Stafflex are currently recruiting for a production operative to join a busy logistics and manufacturing operation in Halifax. This is a hands on role that is split between forklift and warehouse duties. We''re looking for someone reliable, flexible and happy to get involved across the logistics operation. Duties include: Operating machines safely and efficientlyMoving work in progress and materials around siteSupplying production lines with materials and packagingPacking finished goods ready for despatch, including wrapping and labellingLoading finished goods onto vehicles for despatchMaintaining a high standard of warehouse housekeepingSupporting colleagues and working as part of a wider teamWorking independently when requiredAssisting with training and becoming multi-skilled across the departmentRequirements: Previous experience in warehousing/logistics environmentsWillingness to work overtime and 12-hour shifts when requiredReliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a teamGood communication skillsA driving license and access to transport is highly desirable due to the location and shift times. ..... full job details .....
