We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembly Operative in Littlehampton to join an experienced and growing team on a temporary basis for 6 months. Within this position, you will be responsible for the assembly, test and calibration of products.Key ResponsibilitiesCalibration of instrumentationBuilding effective working knowledge of instruments and accessoriesInvestigating and responding to problems foundPCB handling/assemblyPrecision solderingUse of electronic and hydraulic test/calibration equipmentCable preparationWorking within a team assembling instruments from component levelAssembling and inspecting test kitsWorking cross-departmental as requiredKey RequirementsAbility to work as part of a small teamElectronics/Mechanical assembly experienceUnderstanding of basic electronic components and principles is an advantage but not essentialGood manual dexterity for small component handlingPrecision soldering experienceDemonstrate initiativeGood understanding of Microsoft OfficeIf you know someone suitable for this role, share the word and through our referral scheme receive up to 250!
