Production Operative

Responsive Personnel are pleased to be working with a leading uPVC manufacturing company who are looking for a Production Operative to join their team.As a Production Operative, you will be working alongside the rest of the warehouse and production teams to produce components for the assembly of items. This is a busy production environment where attention to detail is vital.Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:45.Salary: £12.71 per hour.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing and AssemblyAssisting in the fabrication of uPVC and aluminium windows and doorsWorking across various production stages within a batch manufacturing environmentOperating machinery and tools including: - Pneumatic hand tools -Saws and cutting equipment - Corner cleaners - Milling machines - Crimping equipmentProduction SupportFollowing technical instructions and production specificationsEnsuring all products meet quality standardsQuality and AccuracyHousekeeping and following Health and Safety proceeduresTraining and DevelopmentFull on-the-job training will be providedOpportunity to progress within different areas of the factoryDevelopment into a skilled fabricator role over timeKey Skills and ExperienceMust have previous experience of working in a factory or production environment.Good attention to detail.Strong communication and organisation skills.Experience with the use of hand tools is an advantage.Knowledge of uPVC or aluminium production products would be an advantage but not essential.Personal ..... full job details .....
