Production Operative

We currently have a temporary role available within the DS Smith site at Smethwick. This role is ideal for someone with previous Warehouse, production or manufacturing experience

Role: Production Operative-

Shifts: Monday - Thursday 6am -2pm and Friday 6am -1pm and the following week Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm-

Pay: -15.75 per hour

Duration: 3 months initially-

Location: -DS Smith, Summit Crescent,Smethwick,West Midlands. B66 1BT

Role & Responsibilities

As a Production/ Warehouse operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. You''ll be part of a friendly, collaborative team committed to providing excellent service.

Main tasks include

• Picking and packing

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a warehouse operative

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

• Physical stamina for warehouse work.

• Reliability and punctuality.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
