Production Operative

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join their busy manufacturing team. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: Solid experience of working as a Production Operator / Manufacturing Operative in a continuous manufacturing environment (at least 3 years). Experience of working with large manufacturing machinery is ideal (any experience in plastic manufacturing would be ideal, but not essential, e.g. Injection Moulding / Plastic Extrusion). Experience of general quality checking finished products, with an eye for detail. Experience of working to production targets, and doing all necessary to ensure these are met. Happy to work 12 hours shifts, days and nights on rotation. Salary: TBC (advert to update soon) + Shift allowance + Overtime Hours of work: 3 on 3 off, Days and Nights on rotation, 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am) Responsibilities: Operating and overseeing heavy manufacturing machinery. Reporting any production/machine issues to management to ensure continuous production. Quality checking products, looking for defects and adjusting production accordingly. Any other duties requested by management to assist with continuous production. This job would suit someone with experience of working a hands-on role in a manufacturing, factory, production environment.
