Pro-Found Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our client''s busy manufacturing facility based in Rotherham.

This is a very physically demanding role working within the wardrobe/glide area of the factory, involving the handling, movement and positioning of large and heavy wardrobe components.

Production Operative Benefits:

• Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm & Friday 08:00am - 15:30pm
• Potential shift change: After 12 weeks, the role could move to a 2-shift rotating pattern - Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm
• Rate of Pay: -13.83 per hour
• Hours: 39 hours per week, paid weekly
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent based on performance, attendance and client requirement
• Location: Rotherham

Production Operative Duties:

• Working within the wardrobe/glide area of the manufacturing facility
• Handling and moving large and heavy wardrobe components
• Regular heavy manual handling and lifting throughout the working day
• Moving components between different stages of the production process
• Assisting with the production and assembly of wardrobes
• Working on production lines
• Quality checking materials and finished products
• Following production instructions and processes
• Working to daily production targets
• Working both independently and as part of a team
• General housekeeping and keeping the work area clean and tidy
• Following all health and safety procedures

Production Operative Criteria:

• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly or warehouse experience is preferred
• Must be comfortable with regular heavy lifting and manual handling
• Physically fit and able to carry out a demanding, active role
• Hard working, reliable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Able to work to production targets
• Comfortable working as part of a team

Please note: This is a very physically demanding role. The position involves regular heavy manual handling and lifting of large wardrobe components throughout the working day. Candidates must be comfortable with this level of physical work.
