This is a hands-on role involving the preparation of moulds, reinforcement cages, and fittings prior to casting, while working alongside experienced operatives to ensure products are manufactured safely and accurately.Key Responsibilities:- Setting moulds and units in line with production requirements- Carrying out minor modifications and adjustments to moulds as instructed- Cleaning, preparing, and maintaining moulds to a high standard- Preparing reinforcement cages ready for placement into moulds- Securing fittings, fixings, and components prior to casting- Reading and interpreting technical drawings- Accurately transferring dimensions from technical drawings to a tape measure- Working closely with experienced operatives and following established procedures- Completing relevant production documentation and task sheets- Following all health and safety procedures- Maintaining a clean and organised work areaRequirements:- Ability to read and understand technical drawings- Confident using a tape measure and working w...
