This is a hands-on role involving the preparation of moulds, reinforcement cages, and fittings prior to casting, while working alongside experienced operatives to ensure products are manufactured safely and accurately. Key Responsibilities: - Setting moulds and units in line with production requirements - Carrying out minor modifications and adjustments to moulds as instructed - Cleaning, preparing, and maintaining moulds to a high standard - Preparing reinforcement cages ready for placement into moulds - Securing fittings, fixings, and components prior to casting - Reading and interpreting technical drawings - Accurately transferring dimensions from technical drawings to a tape measure - Working closely with experienced operatives and following established procedures - Completing relevant production documentation and task sheets - Following all health and safety procedures - Maintaining a clean and organised work area Requirements: - Ability to read and understand technical drawings - Confident using a tape measur...
