Pay Rates

• Day Shift:12.71 per hour
• Late Shift:13.60 per hour
• Night Shift:14.49 per hour

The Role

We are looking for reliable and motivated Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team in Washington. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, offering long-term opportunities for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate plastic injection moulding machines, ensuring all products meet quality specifications.
• Remove moulded plastic components from machines and carry out visual quality inspections.
• Assemble products either independently or as part of a production line.
• Trim excess plastic from moulded components using hand knives while wearing the appropriate PPE.
• Apply labels and identification markings to finished products where required.
• Pack products according to customer specifications, following packing instructions accurately.
• Carry out regular quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and quality documentation.
• Complete production paperwork and written records accurately.
• Support other production activities as required, including assembly, packing, labelling, cleaning and maintaining a tidy work area during quieter periods.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work a rotating 3-shift pattern.
• Able to undertake manual handling tasks, including bending and standing for extended periods.
