About the Role
A Production Operative is needed in Shirley to join a manufacturing team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers a starting salary of £12.71 per hour, with working hours from 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07:00 to 13:00 on Friday. Core duties involve assembling turnstiles, cabins, and PODs, along with stripping down returned customer assets. You will also handle manual lifting, stock movement, and accurate production record completion. Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and securing pallets and stillages are key. A full driving licence is required, as van operation may be necessary. Strong organisational skills and a reliable approach are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble turnstiles, PODs, and cabins.
- Strip down customer assets.
- Carry out manual handling and lifting duties.

- Ensure pallets and stillages are secure.
- Support different production areas as required.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety standards.
- Drive the company van when needed.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
- FLT Counterbalance Licence.
- Experience with electrical assembly.
- Wiring experience.
