About the Role
Pertemps North Midlands seeks a Production Operative for a full-time, permanent post in Stretton, Burton upon Trent. The day shift runs Monday to Thursday, 7:00am until 7:00pm, with a salary of £34,644 annually. Duties include setting up and running injection moulding equipment, feeding raw materials, and completing finishing tasks that remove surplus substance with hand tools. The successful candidate will conduct thorough quality checks, pack goods to order specifications, uphold housekeeping standards, and help reduce waste while supporting cost efficiency. Adherence to health and safety rules is essential, alongside teamwork to achieve output goals. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Pertemps Burton is currently recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of a well-established company based in Burton-on-Trent.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up injection moulding machinery
- Load raw materials into machines
- Carry out finishing work, removing excess material using tools
- Perform detailed quality inspections to ensure products meet strict standards
- Package products according to order requirements
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
- Minimise waste and contribute to cost efficiency
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and regulations
- Work collaboratively to meet production targets
- Previous experience in injection moulding or manufacturing environments
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
