Pertemps is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company in Birmingham. This position is ideal for a practical, hands-on individual looking to develop new skills in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist welders with daily production tasks
- Interpret and follow technical drawings for on-site installations
- Prepare and maintain workstations to ensure efficient work flow
- Contribute to creating Standard Operating Procedures for the team
- To liaise with management to effectively give updates and manage time lines for projects
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience in leading a small team and managing workloads
- Previous experience in a workshop or production environment is essential
