Production Operative

Production Operative Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Operative to join a leading chemical manufacturing company based in Basingstoke, this is a full-time permanent position. Responsibilities as a Production Operative:Handling of hazardous chemicals.Carrying out chemical reactions and processes.Recording of quantities used in processes.Carrying out simple in production analytical testing.Regular cleaning and housekeeping of plant equipment and general factory area.Movement of chemicals using FLT.Packing chemicals both solutions and powders.Operating chemical plant.Carrying out simple day to day maintenance of chemical plant Requirements:Previous background within ProductionForklift Counterbalance experienceTeam playerBasic numeracy skillsPhysical fit as this role is physically demandingComfortable wearing protective clothing and breathing masks for long periods of time The Role:Rotating Weekly shift 1st Week = Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays2nd Week = Monday - Thursday, 1pm - 9pm, Friday 12pm - 7pm£27,000 salary plus a £170 a month shift allowance If you have the required skillset and interested in this role please do apply below or contact Pertemps. ..... full job details .....
