About the Role
This role is for a Production Operative based in Brackley, working a rotating two-week shift pattern of 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00. The position is a full-time, temp-to-permanent contract offering an annual salary of £30,000. The successful candidate will support the manufacture, handling, and dispatch of Loose Fill packaging materials. Core duties include operating expansion extruder machinery, running the EPS Loose Fill process, and managing the starch-based biodegradable extrusion line. Bagging finished goods and ensuring production targets are met safely and punctually are also essential. Applicants should possess strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to workplace safety.

Shift Pattern: Rotating 2-week shifts
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
The Role You will be responsible for supporting the efficient manufacture, handling, and dispatch of Loose Fill products, ensuring production targets are met safely and on time.
Key Duties
- Operating Expansion and Extruder machines
- Running EPS Loose Fill expansion process
- Operating starch-based “Maddox” biodegradable extrusion line
- Bagging finished product to production schedules
- Loading vehicles for dispatch
- Cleaning, dismantling, and reassembling machinery
- Ensuring correct storage of materials in silos
- Supporting goods-in/raw material handling when required
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards across all production areas and yard
- Working closely with Production and Logistics teams
- Following all Health & Safety and ISO procedures
- Manufacturing or production experience desirable (not essential)
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferred (training available)
- Good numeracy and communication skills
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
- Able to work to deadlines in a busy environment
- Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
