Production Operative - Permanent

Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Production Operative to work for a company in Wallingford, OxfordshireRole: Production OperativeLocation: Wallingford, OxfordshireHours: Monday - Friday (7AM - 3PM)Key Responsibilities of the Production Operative:Assist in the assembly and finish of moulded parts as directed by the Team Leader. Adopting good workmanship standards, paying particular attention to quality.Assist in the preparation of mouldings in support of the production schedule.Assist in the preparation and bonding of boats.Assist in the cutting, grinding and flow coating of bonded boats.Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as direct by your line supervisor.Assist in the production of sub-assemblies as and when required.Assist in the training of other personnel including new production operatives as required.Maintain workstation in a clean and tidy state.Operates in accordance with the company''s Health and Safety procedure, and other related company policies.About you:A good standard of general education.Either qualified by experience (2 years plus) or Engineering BTEC Level qualifications with 1-2 years plus experience of working in a similar environment.Must be practically minded and able to use conventional workshop power and hand tools.No candidate will meet every single desired qualification we have listed.
