As a Foundry Production Operative your main duties will include:

• Aluminium melt preparation prior to casting
• Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting
• Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting)
• Moving moulds following casting
• Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast
• Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders

The ideal Foundry Production Operative will have:

• High level of physical fitness. This is a strenuous role involving manual handling in a hot environment
• Experience in a manufacturing, factory, production or construction environment
• A good work ethic
• A good level of physical coordination
• Excellent time keeping skills
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle to reach the site for a 6am start

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday 6am - 4.30pm - 40 hours per week

There is the opportunity for optional overtime on Fridays when on a permanent basis

This role is Temp - Perm, with a 4-week period of temporary working before moving over to a permanent contract.-

Weekly pay (PAYE) plus holiday pay, for the first 4 weeks, moving to monthly pay when permanent

Permanent benefits include free on-site parking, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays and pension
