OA Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Hitchin This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with the potential for a temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidates.Hours of Work - 8am till 4pm Pay Rate Starting rate: £13.50ph Duties of a Production Operative As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include: Operating production machinery safely and efficiently.Weighing and preparing raw materials in line with production specifications.Monitoring production processes to ensure products meet quality standards.Loading and unloading materials and finished products.Packing, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch.Carrying out basic quality checks and reporting any faults or defects.Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.Following all health and safety procedures, company policies, and hygiene standards at all times.Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
