Production Operative

We are recruiting for a production operative to join a specialist manufacturing business in Leeds.Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for preparing finished products for dispatch. This is a hands-on role involving the weighing, filling, packing and labelling of products, as well as operating equipment and ensuring everything is prepared correctly for customers.This would suit someone who enjoys practical, physical work and is comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesWeighing finished products accuratelyFilling and sealing bags ready for dispatchOperating bagging and packaging equipmentLabelling products correctlyChecking products and packaging for quality and accuracyPreparing finished products for storage and deliveryPalletising and moving packaged productsRecording production and packaging informationKeeping the work area clean and organisedFollowing all health and safety proceduresSupporting the wider production team when requiredSkills:Previous production, manufacturing, bagging or packing experience is advantageousComfortable carrying out physical and repetitive workGood attention to detailReliable and hardworkingAble to follow instructions and production proceduresGood health and safety awarenessComfortable working as part of a teamFlexible approach to working hours when ..... full job details .....
