Production Operative

The basics: Job Title: Production Operative Role: Permanent Environment: Manufacturing Location: Near Stapleford, Nottingham Shift: Days: Mon-Thurs (7.00am-3.30pm) and Fri (7.00am-12.30pm) Nights: approx. every 6-8 weeks and you would work in two week blocks Mon-Wed (8.00pm-6am) and Thurs (8pm-5.30am) Pay: Days: £12.82 per hour Nights: £17.05 per hour Earnings: £25,000 minimum (working days only) with earnings of £27,000 approx. when working nights. Benefits: 33 days holiday, Bonus, Pension scheme (5% employer contribution), Death-in-service payment (4x salary) Overview: Working in first class manufacturing facilities for a company that have production sites across the world we now require additional Production Operative to join business. This is a permanent role employed directly to the company who can offer stability due to the products that they make. Overview of duties: Picking and sorting of product from the machinery Boxing and bagging ready for dispatch Aiding the machine setters ensuring material availability Working on the clean room to finish the product Machine minding The ideal candidate / Production Operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Previous experience working in a production environment packing, bagging and boxing ready for dispatch.
