Production Operative

Job Title: Production Operative Location: Sittingbourne Job Type: Full-time / Temp-to-permAbout the Role: We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our clients busy team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, supporting the packing and dispatch of goods as well as assisting with the operation of the various machines.Key Responsibilities:Packing products into bags and placing them into boxes ready for dispatchPrinting and applying labels accurately to finished goodsWrapping products either manually or using a shrink-wrap machineMoving goods through to the dispatch area efficientlyUsing a pump truck to transport items safely within the warehouseAssisting with the machine operations including loading product onto the line.Maintaining a clean and organised working environmentFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesRequirements:Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is desirable but not essentialAbility to work as part of a team and independentlyGood attention to detailReliable, punctual, and willing to learnComfortable working in a physically active roleThe hours of work are 8.00am - 4.00pm initially, however you do need to be able to start from 6am as they do operate a shift system.New Appointments Group, Expertly Matching Employers and Jobseekers since 1975.Before submitting your CV, please take a moment to check the layout, spelling, and grammar.
