      <description>Location: Preston | Salary: &amp;pound;12.71 - &amp;pound;15.20/hour | Type: Temporary | Job description   Multitask Recruitment Solutions are working with a well-established textile manufacturing client who produces high-quality headwear products. We currently have a vacancy available for a  Production Operative  within the weaving department. Full training will be provided.   Roles and Responsibilities   	 Operate machinery efficiently and safely. 	 Assist with yarn preparation to ensure high-quality production standards. 	 Maintain and monitor stock levels. 	 Carry out initial product inspections. 	 Complete training across multiple skills (with hourly rate increasing as skills develop). 	 Ensure work meets required standards, reporting any non-conformance through the correct channels. 	 Maintain a safe and clean working environment. 	 Perform essential quality checks at set intervals. 	 Due to the nature of the role, manual dexterity is required. The role involves standing for long periods, operating machinery, and some lifting. 	 Own method of transport is very advantageous due to the location of the client.
