Production Operative

STARTING ON MONDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER Location: Easton, Grantham Shift Pattern: 4on 4off / 6am to 6pm OR 6pm to 6am Pay rate: £12.71 per hour on days and £14.06 on Nights. You will be responsible for the safe handling, storage, and movement of temperature-sensitive goods, supporting production and logistics operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities: Handling and Storage of Goods - ensure the safe and efficient storage of temperature-sensitive stock according to client and company requirements. This includes receiving, processing, and storing incoming shipments, as well as picking and packing orders for dispatch, while maintaining traceability and product integrity. Production Support - support production lines by supplying materials, removing finished products, and assisting with repack operations. Health, Safety, and Compliance - Maintaining a safe working environment is a key responsibility. Operatives follow company health and safety policies, report near misses or unsafe conditions, and participate in accident investigations when necessary Teamwork and Training- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. They may assist in training new staff, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain high levels of customer service and brand integrity.
