Production Operative

MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative for an established client based in the Kingswinford area.

The successful candidate can potentially be taken on permanently after a successful probation period.

Duties

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and correctly
• Prepare, process, and pack food products according to specifications
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
• Support line changeovers and cleaning activities
• Report equipment faults, product defects, or safety concerns to supervisors
• Work as part of a team to achieve production and operational goals

Skills and Requirements

• Good communication, need for basic English and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Desirable

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Experience operating production machinery

Working hours

• 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday

Pay Rate

• £13.33 per hour (paying 37.5 hours per week)
