Production Operative

Our client, a prestigious entity in the aerospace sector, is seeking multiple contract Production Operative''s to assist in the seamless operation of their day-to-day manufacturing processes. This role, situated in Portsmouth, involves manual work with a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure the efficient production of fuel tanks on a contractual basis.

There is possibility of contract converting to perm.

• Operate in compliance with health & safety guidelines
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas
• Follow and understand technical drawings, SOPs, and process specifications
• Check, mark-up and lift nylon on liners
• Operating an RF welder
• Use different adhesives and lacquer to bond fittings and Kevlar
• Prepare and fit tanks into Media/ICY
• Strip and rebuild jiffys and formers
• Lacquer and stencil tanks
• Record production data and information as required
