Production Operative

Manpower is recruiting Production Operatives to work for our client, based in Edinburgh.You will work within the factory on the production line packing food products and also completing general production and warehousing duties. 12.21 per hour - Overtime after 8 Hours pay at 1.5X base rate. Due to the nature of this temporary work, shifts are planned on a weekly basis and full time hours cannot always be guaranteed. We have positions on:Dayshift - Monday to Friday - 06:30 - 14:30 Backshift - Monday to Thursday - 14:30-22:30Nightshift - Sunday to Thursday - 22:30-06: 0As a Production Operative, your main responsibilities will include: Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items Keeping machines supplied with packaging materials and labels May be some heavy lifting involved loading products onto palletsThe ideal candidate will have: Good observational skills to spot defective products Patience to carry out repetitive tasks The ability to work quickly to meet production targets Good team working skills and the ability to work on your own The ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality proceduresAll candidates must complete an online health and safety induction online before commencing work.
